Swine Flu Information

As a region, and at Mary Washington Hospital and Stafford Hospital Center, we have plans in place to address many of the issues related to contagious infections and diseases. These plans include working with federal, state, and local public health agencies to ensure we are receiving the most up to date information and have access to necessary medical supplies to protect our staff and patients.

MediCorp Health System services, including Mary Washington Hospital and Stafford Hospital Center, are offered to anyone regardless of ability to pay. We have a charity care and discount program to help those who need medically necessary treatment.

Financial assistance is also available for some patients who experience catastrophic healthcare events. We will work with any patient who has difficulty paying for care to develop an appropriate payment plan based on the account balance and the patient's financial situation.

MediCorp Health System is a not-for-profit corporation. Each year, we file with the IRS to demonstrate income and spending, and we share information with the community. A variety of reports are available, and are typically one year to 18 months behind. PLEASE NOTE: These documents are very large and may take several minutes to open.
